Constellations is an editorial design series built around illustrations composed of tiny dots, evoking stars and constellations. Individual points come together to form figures that emerge from the dark space of the cover. The first volume, Étienne Balibar’s Sur la guerre – Trois interprétations, introduces this visual language through a classical figure reimagined as a constellation and rendered in silver foil.

Etc. gallery is a non-profit contemporary art space dedicated to the presentation of Czech and international artists. Through exhibitions, film and video screenings, and public discussions, the gallery focuses on moving-image art and projects that reflect current social and political issues. etc.

The diploma thesis critically reflects six years of study at the Studio of Graphic Design 1 at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology. Rooted in the author’s continuous engagement with studio assignments and influences from its evolving leadership, the work aims to provide an authentic and insightful report on the studio’s activities, visual identity, and data archives rather than merely duplicating already available information. Through analysis of archival materials, visualization of data, and exploration of promotional strategies, the thesis proposes a web-based presentation that offers a comprehensive and objective overview of the studio’s educational environment and outputs.
